New My Eclipse App launched

Customer self-serve is fast becoming a priority to businesses and their customers alike. Businesses must now ensure they are serving their customers wherever they are, whenever they need it and with the explosion of the smart phone market, this needs to be at each customer’s fingertips.

That’s why Eclipse has launched its new mobile and tablet app, available for both Apple and android devices from Tuesday 12th November.

The My Eclipse app will enable customers to manage their connections and give real-time visibility of broadband connectivity, whenever and wherever they need it. In addition, customers will be able to manage support tickets via the app and keep up to date on their progress.

The app was developed by the Eclipse Million Makers Team as part of their challenge to raise valuable funds for The Prince’s Trust and to continue to support this worthy cause; Eclipse will also donate £2 to the Prince’s Trust for each of the first 2,500 apps downloaded.

Ryan Davies, Software Engineer at Eclipse and Eclipse Million Makers Chairman comments; “There is a real shift in how we all consume information and the ease at which we can find what we need, anywhere, anytime. We have become accustomed to being able to access data on the move and via different touch points and it is essential that as a business, we are at the forefront of technology to enable our customers to access the information that they need from us as one of their providers.”

Pete Tomlinson, Director of Sales and Marketing at Eclipse comments; “We’re extremely proud of our team here at Eclipse, not just for their skills and expertise that helps to make us the business that we are, but also for their desire to get involved with valuable charity work that really makes a difference. This app is going to make a real difference to our customer experience, and at the same time, make a real difference to young people’s lives.”

The MyEclipse app is available for FREE download from the Apple App Store and Google Play from Tuesday 12th November 2013.
