Superfast Britain

So it’s over, the government’s BDUK (Broadband Delivery UK) Voucher Scheme is no more.  We hope you got in while the going was good.

We’ve seen huge interest from companies looking to upgrade their connectivity so we weren’t surprised when BDUK confirmed that the funds available to the scheme are now fully committed and that the scheme will remain closed.

BDUK tells us: “No further vouchers will be issued and no further contracts should be entered into in respect of pre-registered packages.  All connections for vouchers issued on or before 31st March 2015 must be installed (connected and live) by midnight on 31st December 2015.”

We’re gonna call it at 5pm on 31st December so we have time to get our glad rags on!

If you’re a reseller it’s worth reminding your customers that they must submit completed claim forms to BDUK for all bespoke vouchers by 5pm on 31st January 2016 (with evidence that installation took place by midnight on 31st December 2015).

Here’s to “unprecedented demand”!

Happy New Year
